Senior .NET Developer, Herndon, VA (Direct Hire)

We're currently partnering with a Fortune 500 Client, helping identify a Senior Software Engineer to join their growing team. They have a variety of applications and are migrating to the latest technology stack!

Highly Preferred

• Well-rounded Microsoft .NET developer.
• Some experience on all parts of the stack- SQL Server, C# and at least some front end skills including CSS/jQuery/HTML, Javascript.
• Experience with Microsoft MVC and Entity Framework
• Knowledge and/or experience with Test Driven Development and Scrum/Agile

• Four year technical degree- Preferably Computer Science or MIS or equivalent.
• 3-5 years experience working with SQL Server (2005, 2008) including experience with stored procedures, views, functions, performance tuning, complex joins, and security.
• 3-5 years experience developing web based solutions using technologies such as ASP.NET, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX
• E-Commerce experience
• Expertise in cross-browser implementation and testing.
• Experience with version control and tracking.
• Ability to deploy applications and configure Windows Server (2003,2008) and IIS 6.5/7 as necessary.
• Strong analytical and data reporting skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills; ability to think outside of the box.
