Purpose/ Summary of the role:

The Senior .NET Developer role is focused on the design, development, and maintenance of APIs and back-end systems that support high-performance algorithmic trading. Operating within a microservices framework and utilizing technologies such as gRPC, the role is responsible for delivering scalable, secure, and resilient solutions. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and ownership of product integrity, with a focus on ensuring end-to-end delivery of features and enhancements that meet high standards for quality, performance, and maintainability. Collaboration with product, design, and engineering teams is essential to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions. The role also contributes to innovation and supports continuous improvement within an Agile development environment.

Main Activities and Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain advanced web-based and backend applications

Build innovative, high-performance solutions in close collaboration with UX and product teams

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical and architectural challenges

Optimize existing systems through refactoring, performance tuning, and scalability improvements

Configure and maintain hosting environments, including database administration and application scaling for dynamic workloads

Implement sustainable coding practices, including automated testing, unit testing, and continuous integration

Contribute to the usability and performance of front-end integrations by optimizing backend systems

Mentor and support team members through knowledge sharing, training, and technical guidance

Deliver projects effectively within established deadlines, ensuring alignment with business goals

Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

Document and maintain clear, reusable code and technical specifications

Perform any other duties aligned with the role

Required Skills & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience

5+ years of professional experience in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) with strong adherence to SOLID principles

Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core, focusing on server-side architecture for scalable solutions

Advanced knowledge of SQL (MSSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases

Proven experience in multi-threaded, high-performance, low-latency application development.

Proficiency in designing service-oriented applications with gRPC, REST, or SOAP

Hands-on experience with messaging systems (Redis, Kafka, ActiveMQ, ServiceBus)

Experience deploying applications in Docker and Kubernetes production environments

Solid understanding of caching mechanisms and performance optimization

Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and modern development workflows

Experience with MetaTrader 4/5 platforms and APIs, including integration with trading systems.

Knowledge of bug tracking systems and CI/CD pipelines

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Fluent in Arabic and English

C++ knowledge is a plus

The Working Hours are Sunday–Thursday, 08:30–17:00 / Monday–Friday, 09:00–18:00
