Vacancy: Senior .NET Core Developer
Location: Brussels, Belgium
About the client
Belgium’s financial regulatory authority is responsible for supervising and regulating the national financial markets. Working closely with the National Bank of Belgium and other EU member states, it plays a vital role in ensuring the stability, transparency, and integrity of the financial system.
To strengthen its Digital and IT teams, the organization is seeking a Senior .NET Core Developer with strong hands-on experience in designing and developing modern .NET Core applications within the Microsoft technology stack.
Job Description
The selected candidate will develop and maintain .NET application portal, which supports the registration of supervised entities and the management of related documentation.
This role requires both front-end and back-end expertise, as well as a proactive approach to development, testing, and maintenance within an Agile and DevOps environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Co-develop and maintain .NET Core portal application.
• Ensure high-quality development through structured coding practices and adherence to standards.
• Perform unit testing of developed modules.
• Participate in technical task estimation, sprint planning, and daily stand-up meetings.
• Collaborate actively with the project team to deliver milestones on time and with high quality.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement and migration of the application toward a full extranet portal.
• Provide support for DevOps, integration, and maintenance activities when needed.
Soft Skills
• Ideally bilingual French/Dutch; if not, fluent in one with strong passive understanding of the other (able to understand and communicate at a basic level).
• Strong analytical and synthetic thinking.
• Solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Requirements:
.NET programming (large or mid-sized applications) 5 Years
.NET Core framework 4 Years
Front-end & Back-end development
Angular, Material Design, Node.js, TypeScript
Visual Studio (CI/CD development & testing)
Agile methodology & Atlassian Stack (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, Bitbucket)
DevOps mindset and troubleshooting
Integration with SharePoint and Azure
