Senior Backend Developer (.NET/C# + Azure)

Gorilla Logic is looking for a very Senior Backend Developer with exceptional web and backend development skills to work as a member of an Agile team responsible for building and maintaining our client’s web and/or mobile applications. Our environment will require you to work effectively with your teammates, of course. But your real success will be measured by how well you couple critical thinking with self-motivation, enthusiasm, and determination.

Responsibilities

Provide architectural leadership to the team and our client

Work with an agile team to build, maintain and optimize our client’s applications

Mentor fellow developers

Work with DevOps and QA to build a quality-focused CI/CD pipeline

Proficient English and communications skills required

Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

Technical Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience

5+ years of backend development experience with .NET/C# and/or .NET Core

Strong understanding of .NET/C# patterns and practices

5+ years of cloud development experience with Azure Cloud infrastructure

Demonstrable experience with cloud security and scaling in a production environment

Familiarity with modern architectural design patterns and modalities such as microservices, serverless, event based, pub/sub, and data streaming

Development experience with SQL or NoSQL databases and writing complex SQL queries

Bonus Skills

Demonstrable experience with payment processing systems

Cloud development experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud

3+ years of experience with modern JavaScript such as ES6, ES7, and Typescript

Container experience with Docker/Kubernetes
