Quento Technologies S.A. seeks a highly motivated and experienced Senior .NET Backend Developers to join a major Systemic Bank in Greece. This is a prime opportunity to contribute to the backbone of critical financial applications in a dynamic environment.

Your responsibilities will entail:

• Spearheading the end-to-end design, development, and ongoing maintenance of core banking software;
• Actively participating across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from concept to deployment;
• Creating comprehensive documentation for the design, implementation, and usage of the software systems;
• Developing test data and executing thorough testing protocols to ensure application accuracy and integrity;
• Proactively identifying, diagnosing, and resolving software defects and user-reported issues;
• Managing the seamless integration of banking applications with various third-party services;
• Working collaboratively within the IT team to guarantee the smooth and efficient operation of all systems;
• Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline;
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on enterprise-level or banking systems;
• Deep understanding of banking operations, financial services, and the regulatory landscape;
• Exceptional problem-solving skills combined with meticulous attention to detail;
• Proven ability to architect and implement scalable, efficient, and robust solutions;
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a talent for effective collaboration;
• Adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Essential Technical Expertise:

• Languages & Frameworks: Expertise in C# and the .NET ecosystem, including .NET Core, .NET Framework, and Entity Framework Core;
• API Development: Solid experience building performance-critical Web APIs using ASP.NET Core, adhering to RESTful principles;
• Database Skills: Advanced proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning on SQL Server. A strong foundation in database design, normalization, and indexing is required;
• Desktop & Web UI: Proficiency in developing user-friendly Windows Forms applications and experience with interactive web development using Blazor (including component-based architecture and state management);
• Development Environment: High proficiency with Visual Studio, Git, GitHub, and Azure DevOps for version control and CI/CD;

Desirable Skills (Considered a Plus):

• Knowledge of DevExpress components;
• Experience with testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit) and API testing tools like Postman;
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
