Job Summary

We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Senior Narrative Designer to join a highly motivated team.

Responsibilities

Write and maintain documentation for world-building, story treatments, scripts, character profiles, dialogue, and environmental storytelling for the assigned project.

Design, build, and implement dialogue and quest content in-game or through third-party tools.

Curate Voice Over (VO) documentation and support recording sessions, including casting selection and directing actors.

Work closely with Level Design and Game Design teams to ensure narrative flow aligns with gameplay mechanics.

Collaborate with artists, animators, and sound designers to enhance environmental storytelling and narrative immersion.

Coordinate with QA to identify and resolve narrative-related issues.

Support the marketing team by providing accurate narrative representation for product presentations to partners and the public.

Stay up to date with industry standards, emerging technologies, and narrative design techniques.

Ensure narrative elements reflect company values and creative guidelines.

Provide creative input for new product presentations and pitches.

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience as a Narrative Designer, Writer, or equivalent role in the video game industry.

At least one shipped title with significant narrative responsibility.

Strong experience in narrative design, interactive storytelling, and dialogue systems.

Proven ability to write compelling stories, characters, and dialogue for interactive media.

Experience working with narrative tools and quest/dialogue implementation pipelines.

Solid understanding of game development pipelines and cross-disciplinary workflows.

Strong documentation and organizational skills.

Ability to adapt narrative content based on gameplay, production constraints, and feedback.

Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working on AA or AAA productions.

Familiarity with branching narratives, player choice systems, and systemic storytelling.

Experience directing voice-over recording sessions.

Background in world-building for long-running franchises or large narrative universes.

Experience mentoring junior narrative designers or writers.

Knowledge of narrative scripting languages or proprietary dialogue tools.

Proficiency in Unreal Engine 5.
