About the Role

We're on the hunt for a Senior Mobile Engineer to level up Kota, our suite of developer tools that provide seamless UI components and benefits integrations into platforms like payroll and HRIS. You’ll focus on building slick, intuitive, and scalable mobile experiences—using React Native, with opportunities to collaborate on our React/Remix.js frontends. We value speed, polish, and empathy for both end-users and developers. What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain top-tier mobile applications using React Native.

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to shape user-centric mobile UX/UI.

• Optimise performance, ensure cross-platform consistency, and resolve mobile-specific issues.

• Mentor team members on best practices around React Native, mobile UX patterns, and code quality.

• Contribute to technical architecture and mobile-specific decision-making.

• Share your enthusiasm: demo side projects or apps you’ve built and love!

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years building mobile or web apps, with hands-on production experience in React Native.

• A sharp eye for mobile UX, animations, and performance.

• Bonus: experience with web frameworks like Remix.js or React Router.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills across product, design, and backend.

• Pragmatic engineering approach—prioritising what matters most to users and the product.

• Self-starter mindset: comfortable working in smaller or startup-like teams.

• Storytelling through code: bring examples of shipped projects or mobile side apps you’re proud of.
