⭐ Mission

Join our AI Lab as a Mobile Engineer and help accelerate Qonto's transition to an AI-first product. You'll ship user-facing AI agents that transform how 600,000+ businesses manage their finances, working in small squads where each team owns a specific AI agent.

With an ambitious goal to launch one AI agent every 6 weeks, you'll deliver high-impact experiences with production-grade
engineering standards, building scalable foundations across iOS, Android, and Web. You'll work alongside Sophie and a fullstack team to build agents that directly impact our customers' daily operations and lead Qonto's AI in-product innovation.

👩‍💻🧑‍💻 As a Mobile Engineer - AI Lab at Qonto, you will

• Ship fast and well: Deliver a new AI agent experience every 6 weeks, balancing the need for speed with reliability and minimal technical debt.
• Build scalable foundations: Architect and implement clean, testable, and performant mobile solutions (iOS & Android) that can scale as we replicate agent capabilities across the app.
• Leverage AI daily: Use AI coding tools (such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Copilot) for ~70% of your hands-on coding to review, refine, and ship features with increased velocity.
• Drive cross-platform consistency: Ensure AI agent features shipped on Web are rapidly available on Mobile, collaborating closely with Product, Backend, and Frontend teams to deliver a seamless and unified experience across all platforms.

🤝 About your future manager

You’ll collaborate closely with Sophie, our accomplished Product Lead for the AI Lab. With years of experience driving product strategy and delivery in both fast-growing startups and established tech companies, Sophie has a proven track record of turning vision into reality. She’s led cross-functional teams through the entire product lifecycle, from discovery to launch, always with a laser focus on solving real customer problems.

She partners closely with Product and Tech leadership to align the AI roadmap with Qonto's strategic goals. She fosters a dynamic, experimental environment where engineers are empowered to take ownership, innovate daily, and adapt their ways of working to unlock new levels of productivity.

🏅 About You

• Mobile expertise: Strong production experience in Kotlin or Swift. Knowledge of both platforms is a nice to have.
• Startup mindset: Fast learner, confident shipper who thrives in fast-paced environments and can balance velocity with quality constraints. Scale-up or regulated industry experience (banking, fintech) is a plus.
• AI knowledge: You are an early adopter of AI coding tools (Cursor, Copilot, etc.) and use them daily to amplify your output and coding speed.
• Adaptability: You are pragmatic and open to stepping outside your comfort zone to get the job done.
• Solution-oriented: You are a strong communicator who can explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and are capable of disagreeing and committing when necessary.
