Sutherland is seeking a reliable and technical person to join us as Senior Mobile Developer who will play a key role in driving our continued product growth and innovation. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mobile Developer with strong experience in Android application development and cross-platform frameworks such as Xamarin and .NET MAUI / React Native / Flutter. The ideal candidate will also have solid backend expertise using ASP.NET Web API, .NET Core 6+, and ORM frameworks including Entity Framework 6 and Dapper. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance mobile applications with secure and efficient backend integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced mobile applications for Android and cross-platform environments

• Architect and build reusable code libraries and components

• Integrate mobile apps with backend services using ASP.NET Web API

• Work with .NET Core 6+ to build scalable and secure backend systems

• Implement database access using Entity Framework 6 and Dapper

• Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX teams, and QA engineers

• Optimize application performance, security, and reliability

• Mentor junior developers and contribute to best practices

• Participate in code reviews and advocate for high-quality engineering standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5 to 7 years of Mobile Development experience

• Strong hands-on experience in Android Mobile Development

• Proven expertise with Xamarin and/or .NET MAUI (React Native / Flutter experience is a plus)

• Backend development experience with ASP.NET Web API and .NET Core 6+

• Proficiency with Entity Framework 6 and Dapper

• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices

• Experience with mobile app architecture, patterns (MVVM/MVC), and lifecycle management

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and Agile methodology

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)

• Knowledge of secure coding practices

• Experience in publishing apps to app stores

• Exposure to containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Hybrid work model, employees are required to work from the office on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
• Working Hours: India shift ends at either 11:30 PM IST / 2:00 AM EST or 12:30 AM IST / 3:00 AM EST.
• Work Location: Hyderabad / Chennai / Pune
