Senior Microsoft Systems Engineer

We are continuously growing, and we are looking for a Senior Microsoft Systems Engineer to join our UniQue Modern Workplace & Cloud Services team, part of our ICT Services Technical Division.

For the Senior Microsoft Systems Engineer position, we expect you to:

• Be responsible for the design, implementation, optimization, and support of intricate IT systems utilizing Microsoft technologies.
• Manage remote and on-site as well as maintain customers' IT infrastructure.
• Be involved in investigating and resolving cases.

Requirements:
Your experience, skillset and qualifications are going to help you succeed in this position, moving forward.

• University/College degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other relative discipline.
• 5+ years of proven working experience in a similar role, supporting IT infrastructure environments.
• In depth expertise in Windows Server and Microsoft technologies.
• Proficient in managing and deploying Active Directory and Federation Services.
• Expert in administering Group Policy within large-scale organizations.
• Solid knowledge in configuring and troubleshooting DNS, DHCP, CA and other core infrastructure services.
• Hands-on experience with System Center components, (SCVMM, SCOM, and SCCM).
• Skilled at performance tuning, log analysis, and capacity planning.
• Knowledgeable in implementing MS High Availability and Failover Clustering.
• Familiarity with Hyper-V and other virtualization platforms.
• Experience with Exchange Server (on-premises and online) is considered an asset.
• Proficient in scripting and automation using PowerShell or comparable tools.
• Knowledge of Azure and other cloud platforms is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication with business stakeholders.
• Ability to produce clear deployment documentation.
• Expertise in planning and change management.
• Proficient in English (verbal and written).
• Willingness to travel internationally (mainly within the EU, up to 5% of time).
