Senior Merchandiser

Responsibilities:

The job duties of this position is to manage our Asia (including China) business by doing the following:
⚫ Handling Enquires
⚫ Assist with idea generation and preparation for client presentations
⚫ To manage a core supplier base whilst bringing on board new supply routes
⚫ Benchmarking and negotiating with suppliers for the best price and terms
⚫ Perform factory initial evaluation, costing and product quality assessments
⚫ Managing projects, monitoring the quality and lead time of merchandise and production
⚫ Arranging the shipments and payment with full set of shipping document prepared

Requirements:

⚫ University graduated with 5+ years solid experience in sourcing, sample/product development.
⚫ Strong negotiating skills, well organizing and good forward planning
⚫ Working experience in garment/textile and promotional fields is preferable.
⚫ Able to handle projects of various product categories independently and proactive report with solutions whenever is any issue.
⚫ Able to work independently but also a keen team player, lead a small team, self-motivated with result-oriented mind set
⚫ Excellent command of spoken and written English
⚫ Willing & Able to work under pressure
⚫ Trip to Mainland and Far East region is required
