Our Client is one of the leading pharmaceutical companies involved in the marketing of strong brands that are market leaders and sales operations all over the country. As a result of a strategic structural reorganization leading to vertical integration, her state of the art manufacturing facilities in Otta, Ogun state are ready for commencement of operations.
Consequently the company urgently requires accomplished professionals with track record of achievements in previous factory management positions, who will share the vision of ht founders of the company to fill the following top management position.
Responsibilities:
The senior mechanical engineer will have the full responsibilities of ensuring that the production equipment of factory runs effectively and efficiently so production targets are consistently met.
He will be required to plan and adhere strictly to scheduled preventive and reactive maintenance schedules to ensure that the factory equipment are in good state of repair at all times leading to minimization of production ‘down time’,
Attend promptly to production equipment breakdowns and take initiative for local adaptation/production of spares.
Operate and maintain the water treatment plant to ensure adequate water supply for the manufacturing process.
Maintain adequate stock of spare parts to enhance speedy repairs/maintenance of product equipment.
Qualifications/Experience/Competencies:
A good bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, registration with COREN is an advantage
Not less than five years cognate experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Proficiency with the HVAC system is a basic requirement.
Versatility with interpretation of technical manuals and engineering drawings, trouble shooting and problem resolution.
Good communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
Good leadership and team building skills. Must be a committed team player.
