Senior Mechanical BIM Modeller - Work From Home

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Mechanical BIM Modeller who can deliver accurate, high‑quality building services models and documentation across a range of engineering projects. The ideal candidate is proficient in Revit, Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), with a strong understanding of consulting design workflows and BIM standards. This role requires excellent coordination skills, the ability to interpret engineering intent, and a collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams.

• Model Mechanical services with high accuracy and efficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
• Produce high-quality documentation aligned with consulting and engineering design intent.
• Understand and interpret design markups, specifications, and engineering intent to develop accurate 3D models.
• Collaborate seamlessly with engineers, designers, and project teams using Microsoft Teams and other digital collaboration tools.
• Identify coordination issues in the model and proactively communicate these with relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure modelling output meets required LOD 300–350 standards and project-specific BIM execution plans.
• Maintain documentation and modelling practices consistent with Australian standards and expectations.
• Work independently and manage time effectively while contributing to a collaborative team culture.
• Liaise clearly and professionally with internal teams and external consultants.
• Other role specific duties as they arise.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Must have 5-10 years of experience as a BIM Modeller, with a primary focus on mechanical services. (Required)
• Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud). (Required)
• Experience working to Australian standards and practices is highly desirable. (Required)
• Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively and independently.
• Strong understanding of building services and engineering fundamentals – Engineering degree required.
• Demonstrated ability to produce consulting-level documentation and design-intent models.
• Strong understanding of coordination workflows and ability to identify and communicate clashes or design inconsistencies.
• Able to follow markups and instructions with minimal oversight, and contribute to BIM workflows and improvements.
• Experience with other BIM tools or plugins (e.g., BIM 360, Dynamo, Solibri) desirable.
• Exposure to sustainability, civil, or structural disciplines is a plus.
