As the Senior Marketing Strategist for VML Finland, you will develop comprehensive marketing strategies for Finnish B2B brands operating globally and lead their execution to deliver clients' business objectives. This position requires experience working collaboratively with client stakeholders in an international setting (marketing, sales, product, and field) and agency colleagues (creatives, designers, and developers).
This role requires a deep understanding of marketing fundamentals and all digital marketing channels, including website, advertising, social media, SEO, and email marketing. You should have strong analytical skills and be confident in interpreting and presenting data to build strategic recommendations and in evaluating and optimising the results of your actions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement robust digital marketing strategies tailored to each client's business objectives.
• Provide expert advice to clients on all aspects of digital marketing, including website optimisation, advertising, social media, SEO, and email marketing.
• Conduct thorough audits of clients' current digital marketing efforts, identifying areas for improvement and formulating actionable plans.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and create tailored digital marketing plans – both on annual and tactical basis.
• Setting operational models for managing and executing digital marketing with colleagues and partners
• Monitor and analyze the performance of digital marketing campaigns, providing insightful reports and recommendations for optimisation.
• Stay abreast of the latest digital marketing trends and technologies, integrating them into client strategies where relevant.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in digital marketing with a focus on multi-channel strategy development.
• Experience working on campaigns and/or projects for global markets and in a B2B context.
• Proven expertise in website optimisation, PPC advertising, SEO, social media marketing, and email marketing.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
• Up-to-date and outspoken about the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken. Other languages are a bonus.
