Senior Marketing Data Analyst - Actives (m/f/x)

The role

As a Senior Marketing Data Analyst – Actives in Global Marketing Analytics, you will help shape data-driven Marketing strategies focused on the existing HelloFresh customer base across 30+ markets on 3 continents. Based in our Berlin Headquarters, you’ll partner closely with the Global Actives Engagement Marketing function to drive customer engagement, retention, and overall business performance.

What you’ll do

• Act as a trusted advisor to the Global Actives Engagement Marketing function: understand their challenges, turn data into clear analytical problem statements, and translate insights into actionable strategic recommendations

• Build and evolve reporting and visualization assets that support day-to-day decision-making and strengthen global performance oversight

• Measure, benchmark, and monitor Global Actives Engagement performance, proactively identifying opportunities to improve key customer and business KPIs

• Lead high-impact analytical projects, partnering closely with Marketing, and also Product and Tech stakeholders to drive clarity and alignment cross-functionally

• Streamline analytical processes, championing scalable, automated and standardised solutions

• Coach and mentor more junior analysts within Global Marketing Analytics, contributing to a supportive and high-performing analytics community

What you’ll bring

• A motivated, collaborative mindset with strong team-working skills and a passion for solving complex business problems

• 5+ years of experience in Customer Analytics, Marketing Analytics, or a related quantitative field—ideally in a fast-paced B2C or subscription business

• Strong understanding of Customer Engagement/ Retention metrics and how they connect to overall business performance

• A structured, results-oriented approach with the ability to turn ambiguous questions into clear analytical frameworks and insights

• Solid technical skills, including:

• SQL and Spreadhseets (required)

• Tableau or a similar visualisation tool (e.g. Looker, PowerBI)

• Python (a plus)

• Demonstrated project ownership and stakeholder-management skills, especially in cross-functional settings

• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to explain analytical concepts to non-technical audiences and influence decision-making
