ABOUT THE TEAM:

The Tide SEO Team is evolving. While organic visibility is our foundation, we know that great copy is what truly converts and builds a brand. We’re seeking a Senior Marketing Copywriter to lead our non-SEO messaging and creative output. You’ll be the strategic link between our search goals and our wider marketing campaigns, ensuring that every piece of content we produce is innovative, cohesive, and impactful.

What we’re looking for:

As a Senior Marketing Copywriter in our Performance Marketing team, you’ll craft the narrative for our members' success. You’ll create sharp, engaging content that guides small business owners through their entire journey – from those first steps to scaling a thriving business.

We need a dynamic writer who can tell a compelling story while delivering the results-driven content needed to fuel acquisition across our marketing channels. This job is right for you if:

• You’re a creative and passionate self-starter who uses performance data to sharpen your copy and find new ways to engage our audience

• You’re an excellent writer with a sharp eye for detail and a proven track record in content-led roles

• You thrive in fast-paced environments and can pivot quickly to meet copy demands across all our channels

You’ll benchmark competitors and track marketing trends to ensure our copy remains unique, positioning Tide as the go-to platform for SMEs. While we’re a collaborative team, you should be comfortable taking ownership and crafting content autonomously.

As a Senior Marketing Copywriter you’ll be:

• Writing compelling, creative copy across all marketing channels – including CRM, Direct Mail, blog articles and product pages – in line with Tide’s tone of voice, messaging, and brand style.

• Working with internal stakeholders (Product, Web, Design etc.) to define, produce and deliver high-impact marketing assets

• Turning technical information into simple, compelling messaging that converts

• Translating marketing briefs into high-quality copy, consistently delivering work to an exceptional standard

• Reviewing, amending and approving other content where necessary

• Putting Tide members at the heart of everything you do with a focus on delivering the best, most engaging content for SMEs

• Championing Tide’s culture and values in your work and interactions across the team

What makes you a great fit:

• Experience in a copywriting role, ideally 2+ years

• You are knowledgeable and passionate about creating content

• You are commercially minded and write copy that converts

• You are self-assured, driven, able to make decisions and take responsibility for them

• You have great teamwork skills and communicate well with different audiences, internally and externally

• You have a strong grasp of English grammar, structure and punctuation

• You have an eye for detail, as well as excellent proofreading and editing skills

• You are able to adapt your writing style to fit Tide’s tone of voice

• You are familiar with industry trends and competition, identifying strategic opportunities

• Strong organisational skills with a proven ability to stay calm and effective while managing multiple deadlines

• You are adaptable and willing to dive in across a busy, friendly team, staying flexible and effective as Tide continues to scale

• You have experience in FinTech, a start-up or fast growing company

• You have experience working in subscription and/or app-based business models
