Job Description

Marqeta is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Marketing Analyst to help transform data into actionable insights that optimize marketing performance and drive business growth.

You’ll partner closely with Integrated Marketing, Demand Gen, MarketingOps, Web Strategy, and RevOps to ensure consistent, accurate reporting across the customer journey and deliver insights that inform marketing strategy and execution.

We work Flexible First. This role can be performed remotely anywhere within Ontario or British Columbia, Canada. We’d love for you to join us!

The Impact You’ll Have:

• Build, maintain, and improve adoption of self-serve dashboards, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and usability across marketing and GTM teams.

• Prepare datasets to support ongoing reporting, forecasting, attribution inputs, segmentation, and broader analytics initiatives.

• Conduct foundational analysis of campaign performance, funnel behavior, web engagement, audience trends, and paid media efficiency.

• Define tracking requirements and partner with platform owners (GA4, Salesforce, Marketo, paid media) to support accurate implementation and ensure data is properly validated.

• Design and execute measurement and testing plans, including experiment setup, QA, and initial results analysis.

• Maintain the quality and reliability of marketing analytics data across source systems, ingestion pipelines, warehouses, and BI layers by investigating issues, validating transformations, and coordinating updates to ensure consistent reporting.

Who You Are:

• 3–5 years of experience in marketing analytics, business analytics, or a related field within a B2B revenue organization.

• Strong proficiency with Advanced Excel and SQL, including experience querying data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery).

• Familiarity with GA4, Salesforce, and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo).

• Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker) for dashboard creation and maintenance.

• Experience working with analytics data pipelines in a modern cloud data stack (e.g., Fivetran, Snowflake, BigQuery, LookML), including validating data ingestion and troubleshooting pipeline or reporting issues.

• Demonstrated ability to organize, validate, and QA data with strong attention to detail.

• Clear, concise communicator capable of translating analytical findings into actionable recommendations.

• Naturally curious, highly organized, and comfortable working with ambiguous data and partnering with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
