A Day in the Life
This role will be on our D-Shift work schedule from 5:30PM - 5:30AM, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and every other Saturday. This supervisor will lead Hybrid D-Shift team with ~48 headcount making sure MPS (Medtronic Performance System) Leader Standard Work (LSW) is followed, ensuring SA (Schedule Adherence) and Digital Pitch Trackers targets are achieved. It is expected of this role to build organizational capabilities and drive employee engagement to create an inspired employee experience through their active participation in problem solving, retention of key talent and driving performance, including providing development opportunities to his/her direct employees.

Location Tempe, AZ
Training will be completed on B Shift for the first 4 weeks of employment. B Shift - 5:30 AM to 5:30 PM Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Every Other Wednesday
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
• Responsible for the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives.
• Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.
• Oversee the effective implementation and utilization of Medtronic Performance System (MPS) tools, ensure alignment with established standards to achieve operational excellence, drive adherence to MPS standards including Tier Management, Problem Solving,5S and other lean methodologies.
• Drive accountability and engaged culture while leading by example and provide hand-on coaching to his/her Team Leads (TL) enforcing consistent adherence to Leader Standard Work (LSW) and established best practices.
• Ensure collaboration
• Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function.
• Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas.
• Management Skills: Management of Financial and Material Resources, Critical Thinking, Project Management, Management of Personnel Resources, Collaboration and Productivity Software, Effective Communication Skills.
• Functional Skills: Proficient computer skills, Lean Manufacturing and continued improvement, Managing Quality.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements To be considered for this role, please ensure the minimum requirements are evident in your applicant profile.
• Requires 3+ years of experience with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.
• Requires advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
Nice to Have
• Proven strong knowledge of Lean methodologies, Problem Solving and Operational Excellence.
• Experience in an FDA regulated manufacturing operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications including Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
• Experience working in a Clean Room
For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$81,600.00 - $122,400.00
This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Operations Incentive Plan (OIP).
The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
