Senior Manufacturing IT Project Manager

We are seeking a senior manufacturing IT project manager to own delivery of complex technology programs inside active manufacturing plants. This is a hands on on site role for someone who has led real programs in OEM or Tier 1 environments and understands how factories actually operate.

This role is accountable for execution inside manufacturing plants. You will be expected to operate with credibility on the plant floor manage risk in live production environments and deliver multi year programs without disrupting operations.

ResponsibilitiesOwn end to end delivery of manufacturing IT programs from planning through execution and stabilizationLead large scale multi year initiatives involving ERP SAP manufacturing systems and supply chain platformsWork on site inside manufacturing plants alongside operations engineering maintenance and IT teamsManage scope schedule budget dependencies and risk across multiple workstreamsCoordinate internal stakeholders vendors and system integrators while maintaining delivery ownershipTranslate plant floor realities into executable technology plansIdentify and resolve issues that impact production system stability or program milestonesProvide clear accurate executive reporting based on real plant progressEnsure solutions meet operational readiness quality and compliance requirements

Required experience10 or more years of IT project or program management experience in manufacturing environmentsDirect experience delivering technology programs inside OEM or Tier 1 manufacturing companiesHands on experience with SAP ERP in manufacturing plantsStrong understanding of factory operations manufacturing systems and supply chain processesProven track record owning and delivering large scale multi year programsExperience operating on site in plants and working directly with plant leadershipExperience managing vendors systems integrators and cross functional teams

Must haveAutomotive or heavy industrial manufacturing backgroundExperience supporting multiple plants or global manufacturing operationsExperience modernizing legacy plant systems
