Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Volume Hiring to lead high-volume recruitment efforts across Japan. This role is critical to supporting Rocket Now’s expansion and ensuring we have the frontline talent needed to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

What You Will Do

- Own and execute mass hiring strategies for roles such as Field Sales, Account Managers, and Delivery Operations.
- Partner with business leaders to forecast hiring needs and align recruiting plans with growth targets.
- Lead and optimize sourcing channels, recruitment events, and digital campaigns to attract high-volume talent.
- Manage a team of recruiters and coordinators focused on operational and seminar oriented hiring.
- Monitor funnel metrics and hiring velocity, and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and Rocket Now’s hiring standards.

Basic Qualifications

- 7+ years of experience in high-volume recruiting, with a strong track record of delivering results in fast-paced industries such as logistics, retail, delivery platforms, or staffing agencies.
- Proven success in designing and executing scalable volume hiring strategies, including sourcing, funnel optimization, and candidate conversion across multiple geographies.
- Experience managing and developing recruiting teams, including coordinators and with a focus on operational excellence and hiring velocity.
- Strong data orientation, with hands-on experience using ATS platforms, recruitment dashboards, and funnel metrics to drive performance and decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with business leaders to forecast hiring needs, align recruiting plans with business growth, and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Experience with seminar-style and event-based hiring models, including coordination of large-scale recruitment events and digital campaigns.
- Deep understanding of Japan’s labor market, compliance requirements, and cultural hiring practices.
- Fluency in Japanese, with business-level English communication skills to collaborate across regional and global teams.
- Comfortable operating in a high-growth, ambiguous environment, with a bias for action and continuous improvement.
