Treasury Function
• Manage daily cash positioning, weekly cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning for legal entities in Asia.
• Oversee payment processing, bank transfers and account funding.
• Supervise bank reconciliations to be done by sub-regions.  Prepare treasury reports on cash position and liquidity for management review
• Improve treasury processes, controls, systems and automation where possible.
• Maintain relationships with banks, optimize bank accounts and be a single point of contact for Group Treasury.
Tax Management
• Lead regional tax compliance including corporate tax filings, drive GST/VAT filings and manage transfer pricing related documentation across Asia countries.
• Manage tax audits and establish relationships with external advisors/regulators.
• Monitor tax legislation changes, provide advisory to business units and effective tax rate planning.
• Single point of contact/tax advisor for regional controllers in Asia and for the Group tax department.
• Degree in finance and accounting with 10-15 years of experience in finance function. Prior experience handling treasury, corporate finance and taxation is expected.
• Good analytical skills, attention to detail and stakeholder management ability.
• Abreast to accounting developments that may impact the business’ financial reporting and disclosures and leads the business on implementing the necessary changes
• Advocates digital change and process / technology improvements in line with the organizational goals
