Senior Manager - Roads Design (MAS7)

Qiddiya Investment Company is on the lookout for a talented and strategic Senior Manager - Roads Design (MAS7-MDUWFP260158) to join our dynamic team. This position is pivotal in leading the design and implementation of cutting-edge roadway systems that support our vision of creating a world-class entertainment and cultural hub.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving innovative design solutions that ensure smooth transportation flow and accessibility while adhering to the highest standards of safety and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning and design of roadways, ensuring that they align with Qiddiya's overall project goals and regulatory standards.
• Lead comprehensive assessments of site conditions and prepare design documents for various roadway projects.
• Collaborate with architects, urban planners, and other engineering teams to integrate roadway designs with surrounding environments.
• Review and approve all technical documentation related to road design projects.
• Manage relationships with external consultants, contractors, and governmental agencies to facilitate project approvals and coordination.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets through effective resource allocation and monitoring.
• Conduct field investigations and site visits to evaluate the effectiveness of design implementations.
• Research and implement best practices and advancements in road design technologies.
• Mentor and develop junior engineering staff, promoting a collaborative team environment.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
• At least 7+ relevant years of experience in roadway design and project management, especially in large-scale developments.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant engineering tools.
• Strong understanding of transportation systems, traffic management, and road safety principles.
• Exceptional project management skills, with a track record of successful delivery within set parameters.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of influencing stakeholders and fostering team collaboration.
• Knowledge of local and international road design standards and regulations.
• Ability to analyze complex information and make strategic decisions.
