As Senior Manager Portfolio Management - Delivery Companies, you will play a central role in shaping and driving the strategic development of METRO’s international Food Service Distribution (FSD) business. In this highly impactful position, you will: 
• Strategic Leadership: Advise FSD top management on strategy development and translate priorities into actionable initiatives.
• Performance Steering: Drive financial and operational results through data-driven reviews and targeted improvement measures.
• Investment Guidance: Lead FSD companies through major investment decisions, including business case development for infrastructure and IT upgrades.
• M&A & Integration: Support the full M&A lifecycle, from commercial due diligence and valuation (DCF) to post-merger integration and synergy realization.
• Operational Excellence: Identify synergy opportunities and advance digital transformation to optimize processes across the portfolio.
• Stakeholder Management: Manage interfaces between FSD units and corporate functions, presenting strategic insights directly to the METRO AG Board.
• Professional Background: 4–6 years in strategy consulting, investment banking, M&A, or corporate strategy.
• Education: Outstanding academic record (Top 10%) in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Strategic Execution: Proven track record in strategy development, complex project management, and cross-functional implementation.
• Commercial Acumen: Strong financial literacy (P&L, DCF, value drivers) with the ability to evaluate diverse business models.
• Stakeholder Management: Confident engaging with C-level leadership, built on transparency and strong presentation skills.
• Industry & Tech: Knowledge of the foodservice industry is an asset; proficient in MS Office and AI prompting tools.
