To develop, lead and drive the P&C Operations Function, strategy and service offerings for the Bank in order to ensure operational excellence and deliver effectively on all service level agreements. Identify and mitigate risks in the execution of P&C Operations processes to ensure adherence to applicable legislation and governance. Provide thought leadership to P&C Operations in order to create a better employee experience, motivate employees, and enhance employee engagement. Provide specialist advice and guidance in respect to the interpretation and application of remuneration policies, procedures, and systems. Furthermore, implement the Reward strategy by providing remuneration support to all People & Culture Business Partners and other Senior Management/ Executive Business stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s Degree in HR/Industrial Psychology, Finance/Accounting, Business, or related.
• A Postgraduate Diploma in Finance, MBA, HR/Reward/Comp & Benefits will be advantageous. 
• Lean Six Sigma certification or similar.
Experience: 
• 8 – 10 years with at least 3 years managerial experience.
• Experience Data/Systems: SAP SuccessFactors or related. 
• Knowledgeable on Namibian regulatory compliance and tax legislation for payroll.
• Demonstrated experience in job evaluation, pay structures, benefits plan design, and annual reward cycles.
• Proficient in Excel, Power BI; basic SQL is advantageous.
Key Impact Areas:
• Lead and drive the execution of all Payroll Management & Finance responsibilities to ensure that the monthly payroll cut-off dates are met and that the monthly payroll results/reports are checked and that all discrepancies are resolved before the final payroll run.
• Develop and implement the Employee Lifecycle process, including the on-boarding, off-boarding and international assignees, to ensure the process and adhered to enhance the employee experience.
• Lead and drive the Employee Engagement process by managing the lifecycle for employees from a People and Culture Operations perspective in order to optimize employee engagement of employees across the organization.
• Lead and drive the benefit administration process by ensuring that all benefit claims, information, policy changes are accurately actioned within the agreed SLA to ensure accuracy.
• Lead and drive the benchmarking insights process for People and Culture Operations as part of the reward life-cycle in order to provide benchmarking information and cost matching.
