POSITION: Senior Manager, Patient Marketing
The salary range for this position is between $140K and $175K. Actual salary at the time of hire may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant qualifications, skills, and experience.
The company also currently offers a Long-Term Incentive Plan (cash plan) of 20% base salary, annual performance bonus target of 20% base salary (subject to meeting plan requirements) and comprehensive health benefits (employer funded), unlimited vacation time and 401k plan (subject to change or modification from time to time).
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Marketing Manager, Patient Marketing for QUTENZA, is responsible for developing and executing strategic and tactical marketing initiatives that engage and empower patients, driving awareness, adoption, and adherence.
This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to ensure that all patient-facing communications are compliant, integrated across channels, and aligned with brand objectives and the overall patient experience. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of successful planning, execution, and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic commercial environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic and tactical planning: Support the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns designed to educate and motivate patient audiences, driving awareness, adoption, and sustained engagement.
Omnichannel profiency: Partner closely with the Digital Marketing Lead to develop and implement patient website strategies, digital content, and omnichannel promotional materials that deliver a seamless and cohesive experience across all touchpoints.
Patient-centric approach: Collaborate with Patient Services and internal stakeholders to ensure that all marketing and patient suppot communications reflect a consistent, patient-centric message and optimize the end-to-end patient experience.
Agency partnership: Oversee day-to-day operations of external patient agency to ensure deliverables are completed efficiently, on-brand, and on schedule.
Compliant promotions: Collaborate with Legal, Medical, and Regulatory (LMR) partners to facilitate timely review and approval of promotional materials, ensuring full compliance with all relevant industry standards and company policies.
Performance measurement and optimization: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and translate insights into actionable strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS, CAREER EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent experience
Advanced degree (MBA, MHA) preferred or equivalent experience
Career Experience
Minimum 4 years of pharmaceutical or biotech marketing experience, with a focus on patient or consumer marketing
Experience with specialty brands distributed through multiple channels
Business Acumen
Proven ability to work in a in a dynamic, agile, and fast-paced environment
Sense of urgency in sharing critical information with relevant stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to establish and manage shifting priorities and handle numerous time-sensitive projects with multiple deadlines
Flexibility in prioritizing work and ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment with a keen ability to identify opportunities for process improvements
Professional Skills
Proficiency with digital engagement and omnichannel-enabled tactics, sufficient to act as thought partner with omnichannel marketing lead
Demonstrates strategic thinking, creativity, problem solving, critical analysis, and decision-making skills with a focus on results
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret data to inform actionable marketing strategies
Results-oriented with excellent collaboration, communication, and presentation skills
Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
