As part of the Silicon Co-design Group (SCG), we are seeking a Senior Hardware Engineering Manager to lead the Taipei site. This role oversees engineering teams responsible for memory validation, IO characterization, reliability, labs and system-level manufacturing tests, focusing on first silicon power-on and silicon validation. SCG delivers groundbreaking solutions to co-deign & productize NVIDIA's solutions in datacenter, consumer, professional and automotive markets.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Lead and scale engineering teams in Taipei, collaborating globally across engineering, ASIC, architecture, and operations.
• Drive validation execution, technical closure, and seamless NPI ramp-to-mass production transitions.
• Establish and track KPIs, standardize processes, and ensure alignment with global product performance targets.
• Manage productization, capacity planning, and lab operations, including budget control and equipment maintenance.
• Oversee lab operations and growth, ensuring compliance with industry standards for security and electrical testing.
• Define and implement test strategies and solutions for system products, supporting NPI and production test capacity.
• Lead crisis response for quality, material, or capacity disruptions, providing real-time updates to executive teams.
• Mentor and develop engineering talent, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Build strong relationships with global engineering leaders.
What We Need to See:
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical, Computer, or Systems Engineering, or related field.
• 12+ overall years of hardware validation experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Proven experience managing large, high-performing teams and delivering results.
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Hands-on technical expertise in validation, test line establishment, and process control.
• Experience supporting high-reliability markets like automotive is a plus.
• Demonstrated success in leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder influence.
