The Senior Manager - Delivery in the Commercial Office at Qiddiya Investment Company is responsible for overseeing and driving the successful delivery of commercial projects and initiatives. This role involves managing project schedules, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communications to ensure commercial objectives are met efficiently and effectively. The Senior Manager will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with internal and external partners, and implement best practices in project and commercial management to align with Qiddiya's strategic goals.
Key responsibilities include developing and monitoring delivery plans, managing contract negotiations, mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The role demands proactive problem-solving, leadership, and excellent communication skills to foster collaboration and drive project success.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of commercial projects to meet scope, schedule, quality, and budget targets.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project delivery plans, ensuring alignment with Qiddiya’s strategic objectives and commercial policies.
• Manage contract administration, procurement processes, and supplier relationships to optimize commercial outcomes.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks and issues related to project delivery while maintaining compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including finance, legal, procurement, and operations to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Prepare and present reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders regarding project status, challenges, and risks.
• Drive the adoption of project management best practices, tools, and methodologies within the Commercial Office.
• Ensure stakeholder engagement and manage communications to maintain alignment and support throughout project phases.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Finance, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in project delivery and commercial management within large organizations, preferably in entertainment, infrastructure, or investment sectors.
• Strong knowledge of contract management, procurement processes, and commercial negotiation skills.
• Proven track record in successfully managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of making sound decisions under pressure.
• Experience working within or alongside commercial offices, with a good understanding of financial and legal considerations in project delivery.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is desirable.
• Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus.
