The Senior Manager – Compensation & Benefits will play a critical role in designing and implementing compensation and benefits frameworks for newly established subsidiary and operating companies across multiple industries under Qiddiya Investment Company.
Working closely with the HR Incubation team, business leadership, and external consultants, the role will be involved in the design, creation and implementation of compensation and benefits structures for newly established entities for Qiddiya.
Considerations include market-aligned rewards, cost-management, legal compliance, and scalability, while supporting talent attraction and retention.
The role is ideally suited to a seasoned C&B professional with strong business startup experience in the Middle East, who can operate in ambiguous environments and design and build fit-for-purpose reward structures from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop job architecture, grading structures, salary bands, incentive frameworks, and allowance structures tailored to each operating company’s business model.
• Ensure compensation strategies align with organizational strategy, financial constraints, and regional market practices.
• Design, develop, and recommend benefits programs for each operating company, including medical, insurance, allowances, and statutory benefits.
• Balance competitiveness, affordability, and sustainability when structuring benefits packages for early-stage companies.
• Ensure benefits programs comply with local labor laws and regulations across Middle East jurisdictions.
• Partner with brokers, insurers, and vendors to source and manage benefits solutions.
• Work closely with external compensation consultants and survey providers to obtain reliable market data and benchmarks.
• Analyze market data to inform compensation structures, pay positioning, and benefit offerings for different industries and geographies.
• Partner with the HR Incubation team to support the setup and launch of new subsidiary companies.
• Act as a subject matter expert to HR Business Partners and leadership teams on compensation and benefits matters for OpCos.
• Prepare presentations, business cases, and recommendations for senior leadership and governance committee.
Skills & Competencies
• Strong expertise in compensation and benefits design within start-up, or rapid-growth environments.
• Experience working in a matrixed environment
• Experience in job evaluation from trusted international methodologies
• Deep understanding of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and wider GCC labor laws, compensation practices, and benefits structures.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and translate insights into practical frameworks.
· Project management skills with an ability to develop frameworks & trackers (RACIs etc)
• Proven ability to work with ambiguity and build structures from scratch.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Commercial mindset with strong cost and financial awareness.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (Master’s or professional certifications such as CCP preferred).
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Compensation & Benefits, with experience at Senior Manager or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience setting up compensation and benefits frameworks for startup or newly established companies.
• Middle East experience is essential; regional, multi-country exposure is highly desirable.
• Experience working across multiple industries is strongly preferred.
