The Senior Manager – Commercial (Baby & Elderly Care) is responsible for leading the commercial strategy and execution for the Baby & Elderly Care category. This role ensures cost optimisation, quality compliance, and supplier partnerships to drive category growth and profitability.
1. Category Strategy & Planning
• Develop and implement category strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Conduct market and industry analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
• Lead strategic sourcing processes, including supplier segmentation and negotiations.
2. Supplier Management
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.
• Negotiate trade terms and annual contracts to optimise cost and service levels.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and sustainability standards.
3. Financial & Performance Management
• Monitor sales, margin, and other income against budget (MTD/YTD).
• Prepare business reports and analyze category performance vs. market benchmarks.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives and maintain profitability targets.
4. Product Development & Commercialization
• Collaborate with marketing and operations to launch new products and promotions.
• Ensure assortment and pricing strategies meet customer needs and business goals.
5. Cross-Functional Leadership
• Work closely with supply chain, finance, QA, and merchandising teams for end-to-end execution.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team to deliver category objectives.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 8–10 years’ experience in FMCG, retail, or non-food categories; experience in personal care preferred.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of sustainability and food safety standards.
• Good command of English communication skills.
