As the Senior Catering Manager you will be responsible for:
Job Responsibilities:
• The Senior Catering Manager is responsible for soliciting and booking business to achieve sales goals and objectives, Such objectives are : selling and coordinating food, beverage, decor, entertainment, audio visual, etc. for all group sales booked, while generating maximum revenue from each group.
• The managers is also responsible for leading and mentoring the Catering Services Managers, Catering Managers and Administrative Assistants.
• The manager must be able to assist in development of the staff.
• Is responsible for assisting Banquet Services, and any other duties as assigned by the Director or Management.
• Candidates must be able to communicate, read and write in English fluently and in a professional manner. 2nd language a plus.
• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Requires a minimum of 5 years work experience in upscale catering/conference services, including a minimum of two years catering sales management experience.
• Computer proficiency in computer systems: including MS Office and Delphi systems are preferred, but not required.
• Candidate must exhibit leadership skills and the ability to work self-managed.
• Requires the ability to work efficiently and within a team environment
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards required, at present or in the future, for this position at all times
• Applicants must be 21 years of age or above.
