Job Description

Lead the Business Report Development function for CP Axtra’s BIC, owning the planning, development, governance, and reliability of enterprise business reporting across Makro/Lotus’s. Partner closely with Data Engineering/Operations and business stakeholders to ensure BIC dashboards reports are consistent, timely, and trusted; coordinate incident triage and SLA communications.

Key Responsibilities

1) Reporting & Delivery

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of BIC dashboards and scheduled reports; define standards for data modeling, DAX/SQL patterns, performance, and release processes.
• Lead RCA when discrepancies occur and publish corrective actions.

2) Platform Operations & SLA

• Coordinate daily/weekly SLA communications with Data Operations and vendors, including delays, pipeline status, ETA, and stakeholder notifications.
• Maintain readiness for month‑end/quarter‑end.

3) Governance & Security

• Embed BIC governance practices (access management, RLS/object‑level security, workspace standards) and align to the CP Axtra Data Governance Committee direction.

4) Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary contact for business owners (Operations, Finance, Commercial, etc.), communicating changes, incidents, and delivery timelines to broad stakeholder groups.

5) Leadership & Team Enablement

• Coach analysts/BI developers on standards and best practices; coordinate transition plans and handovers when ownership changes.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years’ experience in BI/report development with at least 5 years in a lead/manager capacity.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in Power BI (Desktop, Service, gateways, deployment pipelines; paginated reports desirable), SQL/DAX, and data modeling.
• Familiarity with enterprise data platforms (Databricks, cloud platforms).
• Understanding Retail analytics environments and batch pipeline dependencies; comfortable coordinating with operations vendors under SLAs.
• Strong stakeholder communication and incident/RCA documentation skills.
