Senior Manager - Architecture & Interior Design Lead - Design Excellence -ENT681

Qiddiya Investment Company is at the forefront of creating a groundbreaking entertainment and cultural destination in Saudi Arabia, and we're looking for a Senior Manager to act as the Architecture & Interior Design Lead for Design Excellence. In this vital position, you will be responsible for driving the highest standards of design quality and innovation across all architectural and interior design projects.

Your expertise will play a crucial role in shaping the identity of Qiddiya, ensuring that every aspect of the design process reflects our commitment to excellence and creativity. You will work collaboratively with various teams, stakeholders, and external partners to establish and maintain design guidelines that promote an exceptional visitor experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise, guide and comment on all aspects of architectural and interior design
• Ensure a high level of design and strategic design deliverables
• Serve as an enabler of design consistency, guidance, and create a framework of design excellence
• Equip design/development Teams with the Core Pillars of design excellence, enabling them to lead and direct the design process effectively. These are Strategic Design Thinking, High level of Design, Psychology of Design, Subjective Design, Design Innovation, Design Functionality, Form and Aesthetics, Spirit of Play
• Offer specialist design insights and strategic design thinking
• The implementation of standard design systems that drive design performance
• Pursuing opportunities for design improvement and innovation
• The creation of policies and procedures for design processes
• Design education and the transfer of design knowledge from design excellence to development teams

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 9 - 12 years of experience in architectural and interior design with specific hospitality experience and other fields
• A strong portfolio demonstrating exemplary design solutions across a range of projects and sectors, preferably including recreational and entertainment spaces
• Proven track record of implementing design excellence frameworks and leading design quality initiatives
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and team members
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving capabilities, with a keen eye for design detail
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
• Knowledge of sustainable design practices and a commitment to incorporating them into projects
• Experience working in a multicultural environment is highly desirable
