About the role:
This is a high-impact role where you’ll work closely with manufacturing, R&D, and leadership to drive financial performance, cost visibility, and strategic decision-making. In this role you will:
Lead manufacturing accounting & costing – manage BOMs, cost analysis, and production variances
Own revenue & key customer financials – including transfer pricing, revenue share, and demand forecasting
Drive FP&A – lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly management reporting
Partner across the business – provide insights to manufacturing, R&D, and leadership teams
Oversee R&D financials – track project spend, capitalisation, and funding
Improve processes & controls – enhance reporting, automation, and financial governance
Support reporting & audits – contribute to statutory reporting and audit processes
With another Management Accountant as a direct report, you’ll also get to demonstrate your leadership skills.
What you’ll bring:
CA / CPA qualification
5+ years’ experience in manufacturing or commercial accounting environments
Strong understanding of NZ IFRS and financial reporting
Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
Proven ability to translate data into commercial insights
Strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills
Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused mindset
