Job Description
• Program developing and documenting
• Program lifetime handling
• Handling program communications with each other and other systems
• Complex problem handling
• Understanding user needs and handling those
• Writing structured programs
• Efficient development and installment of programs
• Handling database, handling transactions
• Writing technical requirement specifications
• Planning of testing (new versions), execution and checking
• Efficient failure prevention and correction
• Installing new functions, failure corrections, testing
• Support to change management: testing new versions, activation, supporting migration
• Alignment with relevant fields in terms of updates (releases)
• Adjustment to releases, supporting it’s go live process
• Applying / programming interfaces
• Taking part in transactions and documentation
• Learning and using of new tools
Qualifications
• COBOL senior knowledge
• Minimum 5 years relevant professional experience
• College master’s degree in field
• Strong English and/or German knowledge
• IBM mainframe senior knowledge
Advantages

• IBM mainframe utility, JCL knowledge
• Other programming knowledge
• DB2 knowledge
• CICS knowledge
