Overview of Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior M365consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for consultancy, deployment, configuration, and support of Microsoft 365 solutions to Ergo customers. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Role Responsibilities

Required to lead an implementation phase with more Junior Engineers and/or Self-sufficient in the implementation of IT systems and solutions based on business requirements and according to vendor best practice. This can be as part of a greenfield and/or brownfield deployment.

Configuring and deploying Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Copilot.

Cofiguring and deploying of Microsoft Cloud Technologies, specifically Microsoft 365 Workloads.

Ability to gather customer requirements and provision HLD or LLD documentation provided capturing the customers required design.

May be required to contribute/shadow producing documentation such as high-level and low-level customer-facing design documents based on pre-existing templates and under the direction of Solution Architect ultimately responsible for the document delivery.

Run Technical Design Workshops with customers.

Support the Pre-Sales process with technical SME contribution on pre-sales opportunities on an occasional basis

Design, planning and delivery of Microsoft 365 hybrid and tenant-to-tenant migrations.

Produce, Execute and document tests as part of test and acceptance with clients as well as knowledge transfer when required.

Produce and complete project handover documentation.

You will be required to collaborate effectively with internal project teams including technical and project management resources as well as external extended team including Clients and Vendors as part of Project Delivery

Education, Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven 5 years experience as an Microsoft 365 Consultant or similar role covering multiple products and solutions

Proficiency in configuring and deploying Microsoft 365 in large environments

Excellent problem solving skills

Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 including:

Microsoft Entra

Microsoft Purview

Microsoft Defender

Microsoft 365 Copilot

A strong working knowledge of IT security protocols

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Good Documentation skills from an implementation, test and operational procedural document perspective

Experience in a customer facing IT role required

Ability to collaborate in a team environment

Ability to work independently or part of a team

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Any experience in Quest On-Demand Migration and ShareGate would be preferable, but not a requirement.
