Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning and delivery of local and international events, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, approved procedures, quality standards, and budget constraints.
Provide end-to-end oversight of event logistics, managing complex operational workflows that require strong leadership, clear communication, and high-level organizational judgment.
Oversee and coordinate all event services from concept to completion, including venue sourcing and contracting, space planning, F&B, team-building activities, technical production, permits, insurance, and health & safety compliance.
Develop, expand, and maintain a strong network of venues and suppliers through continuous market research, negotiation, and performance evaluation.
Act as the primary strategic point of contact with vendors and partners, managing relationships, contracts, service levels, and issue resolution.
Provide on-site leadership during event set-up and execution, proactively identifying risks, resolving issues, and ensuring seamless delivery.
Lead the management of third-party suppliers, including contract negotiation, cost control, and performance oversight.
Prepare and review event proposals, pricing structures, budgets, and internal documentation to support event delivery and approvals.
Maintain full financial accountability for assigned events, including budget planning, tracking, invoicing, reporting, and post-event reconciliation.
Deliver regular progress updates, risk assessments, and status reports to senior management, ensuring accurate documentation and transparency.
Conduct post-event evaluations to assess outcomes, client satisfaction, supplier performance, and operational efficiency, driving continuous improvement.
Provide operational guidance and support to the wider events team, contributing to process improvement, reporting, database management, and administrative oversight.
Demonstrate strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, acting decisively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
Champion a proactive, solutions-oriented, and hands-on leadership approach, with a commitment to innovation and delivering exceptional event experiences.
Undertake additional responsibilities and strategic initiatives as assigned by senior management.
