Senior LiDAR Engineer

The Senior LiDAR Engineer will lead advanced LiDAR-based 3D modelling and analysis for large-scale infrastructure projects. The role involves transforming point cloud data into accurate engineering, CAD, and BIM outputs to support design, reporting, and decision-making across transportation and structural projects.

Requirements:
Key Responsibilities

• Perform LiDAR-based 3D modelling for complex infrastructure elements including:
• Terrain and topography
• Bridges and structural components
• Buildings
• Roads, highways, railways, and other transportation assets

•
• Develop high-detail mesh models from LiDAR point cloud datasets.
• Conduct LiDAR analysis for infrastructure assessments, with a strong focus on bridge evaluation and reporting.
• Prepare detailed technical and engineering reports based on LiDAR measurements and analysis.
• Convert LiDAR data into accurate CAD and BIM models.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and project teams to ensure data accuracy, model quality, and adherence to standards.

Required Experience & Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in LiDAR data processing, analysis, and modelling.
• Strong expertise in:
• LiDAR-based 3D and mesh modelling
• Infrastructure modelling (bridges, buildings, roads, railways)

•
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and interpretation of civil engineering drawings.
• Working knowledge of Revit and BIM workflows.
• Solid understanding of bridge structures and key structural components.
• Experience in Scan-to-BIM workflows and BIM modelling.
• Ability to analyze complex LiDAR datasets and produce engineering-grade reports.
• Exposure to large-scale infrastructure or transportation projects is highly desirable.
