Job Summary

As a Mid-Level NetSuite Technical Lead, you will serve as the technical owner of the CLIENT’s financial ecosystem, with NetSuite as its core. In this hands-on role, you’ll manage system configurations, integrations, security, and ensure overall system health across tools such as NetSuite Planning & Budgeting (NSPB), Avalara, Rillion, FloQast, and banking platforms.

You will partner closely with Finance, Tax, and Digital teams to balance day-to-day support with long-term scalability, automation, and optimization initiatives. This is a high-impact role requiring both deep technical proficiency and a systems architecture mindset.

Requirements:
NetSuite System Ownership and Administration

• Serve as the primary NetSuite Administrator, overseeing configurations, roles/permissions, saved searches, workflows, dashboards, bundles, and sandbox environments.
• Manage testing, release management, documentation, and user training for NetSuite and related financial systems.
• Ensure robust system governance, data integrity, and security across all financial platforms.

Technical Design and Integration

• Own the technical design, implementation, and configuration oversight for all integrated financial systems (e.g., NSPB, Avalara, Rillion, FloQast, banking tools).
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to design, scope, and implement system enhancements, automations, and integrations.

System Performance and Support

• Monitor system performance and perform regular maintenance (e.g., backups, security patches).
• Stay current on NetSuite releases and best practices to maximize system reliability, scalability, and optimal performance.
• Provide timely user support by managing tickets, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with vendors as needed.

Finance and Accounting Support

• Support Finance and Accounting teams with reporting, compliance & audits, and automation across key financial cycles (procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, month-end close).

Education and Experience Required Qualifications

• Must be a Bachelor’s Degree graduate in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related field.
• At least 4-6 years hands-on functional experience with NetSuite (configuration, workflows, reporting, permissions).
• At least 2-3 years experience in leading a NetSuite Development team.
• Required experience in Energy, Infrastructure, or any Capital-Intensive industries.
• Deep knowledge of finance and accounting processes (AP, AR, GL, close, procurement, fixed assets, project accounting, consolidation, and financial reporting).
• Experience gathering business requirements and delivering functional solutions in NetSuite.
• Strong problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with systems such as NetSuite Planning & Budgeting (NSPB), Oracle FCCS, Avalara, FloQast, and Rillion.
• Strong proficiency in SuiteScript 1.0/2.x and NetSuite customization tools.
• Knowledge of integration technologies and APIs (RESTlet, SOAP Web Services).
• Experience with workflow automation and business process mapping.
• Experience with NetSuite modules (e.g., Financials, SCM, CRM).

Experience Preferred

• Understanding of SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit requirements.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, JSON, HTML, and SQL.
• Familiarity with integration platforms (Celigo, Boomi, Mulesoft) and APIs.
• Experience in a multi-entity, global, or fast-scaling environment.
• Experience with ERP implementations, upgrades, or integrations.
• Experience gained from Oracle Partner companies in the Philippines

Work Setup & Schedule

• In-person work required for the first few months
• Hybrid work arrangement may be offered once trust and reliability are established
• Shift schedule: EST (Eastern Standard Time) during the initial phase, Mid-Shift probably on Month 3 onwards
• Shift flexibility may be considered in the future based on performance and team needs
