Our team finds practicable and innovative solutions for complex problems, manages legal risks and promotes integrity.

You are a lawyer with a clear focus on commercial and contract law with an expertise in all related aspects of operating an internet platform business. You will be a trusted business partner for all company stakeholders, acting as both an enabler and guardian of the company. In this role you will develop a deep understanding of our business and tech stack, while participating directly in negotiations with international and external stakeholders.

We are an international and multidisciplinary team with expertise in various fields of law. Serving our business flexibly, we often also work on topics outside of our core specialty. This full time role is based in our office in Bangkok, Thailand.

Your mission:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, with a focus on complex sales and partnerships contracts.

• Provide expert legal advice on contract law and commercial matters, balancing risk mitigation with business objectives.

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company's business model and operations to offer tailored legal solutions that support organizational goals.

• Collaborate closely with key stakeholders across departments, offering strategic guidance on legal aspects of business decisions.

• Support global scaling projects by addressing legal challenges and ensuring compliance with various jurisdictional requirements.

• Contribute to the improvement of contract management processes (with legal tech tools) and develop training programs to enhance commercial law awareness throughout the organization.

What sets you apart:

• Based in Bangkok, Thailand or willing to relocate. We operate on a hybrid work model and value in person interaction in our office in Bangkok a minimum of 3 days per week.

• Qualified to practice law in one or more countries in APAC.

• 5+ years of post-graduate work experience in an international law firm and/or in a tech company with substantial exposure to commercial and contract law.

• Foundational knowledge of and affinity for tech and platform business.

• Excellent communication and relationship building skills.

• Intercultural skills and ideally experience in a multinational environment.

• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

• Passion for personal growth, teamwork, travel and delivering for our customers.

• Familiarity with legal tech tools is a plus, willingness to learn a must.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Any additional languages spoken in APAC are a plus.
