We are looking for a Senior/Lead Unity Engineer to join our team!

Founded in 2012, N-iX Games is one of the biggest game development and art production vendors in Ukraine and Poland, working with leading publishers and media enterprises around the globe as a service provider. The team of 100+ professionals focuses on full-cycle game development, team extension, VR solutions, and content creation for all the most popular platforms. The studio has successfully collaborated with over 40 clients, including Blizzard Entertainment, Ubisoft, Gearbox Software, Paradox Interactive, Tempo Storm, and Supermassive Games.

Responsibilities:

• Own gameplay feature design and drive implementation of robust, optimal solutions

• Partner with Lead architects to establish clear design and translate scope of work for the team

• Support scheduling, planning and delegating of tasks amongst team members.

• Manage releases efficiently , reduce integration and communication overheads

• Find ways to improve and optimize app performance

• Conduct code reviews

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in Unity development

• Expert-level proficiency with Unity and C#, with a track record of delivering high-quality projects.

• Strong understanding of WebGL performance considerations and constraints for desktop & mobile.

• Experience with optimization, asset management, and build processes for web-based games.

• Skilled in code architecture, design patterns, and creating reusable systems.

• Confident with version control (Git) and collaborative workflows.

• Experience mentoring developers and reviewing code for quality and maintainability.

• Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical Audiences.

• At least Upper-Intermediate level of English

Nice to have:

• Experience building educational or serious games.

• Familiarity with CI/CD and automated build pipelines for Unity projects.

• Understanding of UX design principles for young audiences.

• Experience working in agile development environments
