About the client:
Our client is an international digital marketplace for used vehicles, connecting sellers and buyers across Europe and beyond. The company focuses on enabling seamless online car auctions and transactions through digital platforms. With a strong emphasis on technology and digital sales channels, they continuously invests in improving its platforms, including mobile applications, to enhance user experience and increase transaction volume.

Project:
The client is looking for a Senior / Lead React Native Developer to take ownership of their mobile application transformation. The current mobile app is considered too basic and does not yet support the desired level of user engagement and sales. The goal of this project is to:

● Assess the current mobile application (technical and functional)

● Potentially redesign the app architecture and UX/UI

● Improve scalability to support more users and higher activity

● Introduce new features to enhance the overall user experience In addition to hands-on development, the consultant will play a key role in:

● Coaching and guiding the internal team

● Acting as a technical lead on mobile development topics

● Helping the client move towards a more mature and scalable mobile solution

Requirements:
Technical Skills The client is looking for a Senior or Lead Mobile Developer with a strong specialization in React Native. Core requirements

● Strong experience with React Native (mobile development only)

● Proven experience in mobile application architecture and redesign

● Ability to assess existing applications and propose improvements

● Experience in scaling mobile applications (performance, users, features)

● Strong understanding of UX/UI principles Responsibilities

● Evaluate and improve the technical foundation of the mobile app

● Redesign or optimize the application architecture

● Implement new features

● Provide technical leadership and coaching to the internal team Languages

● English: mandatory

Start Date

● ASAP Remote / Onsite

● 2 days per week onsite in Tienen

● Remaining days remote

● Contract duration: 6 months
