Position: Senior Key Account Manager
Location: Helsinki, Finland, Hybrid

About the Position

This is a senior commercial leadership role within Flora Food Group (FFG), driving growth and excellence across one of our most strategically important customer partnerships. As Senior Key Account Manager, you will lead the commercial relationship with a major retail account, ensuring sustainable growth and exceptional customer engagement across Finland.

Based in Helsinki, you will also play a key role in fostering collaboration across our local team, acting as the central link between Sales, Marketing, Category, and Finance to deliver aligned, high-impact outcomes. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, this position combines strategic account leadership with people management and cross-functional influence.

Key responsibilities include:

Experience and Expertise:

• At least 10 years’ experience within FMCG sales, with a strong track record of key account leadership.

• Demonstrated success managing complex customer relationships and delivering commercial growth.

• Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop teams.

Strategic Account Leadership:

• Lead and grow a major retail account in line with agreed commercial strategies, ensuring delivery against sales, profit, and customer satisfaction objectives.

• Develop and execute annual account plans that drive sustainable performance and long-term partnerships.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

• Directly manage one Key Account Manager and one Sales Excellence Coordinator, with dotted-line collaboration from Commercial Finance, Marketing, and Category.

• Build engagement within the Helsinki office, nurturing a culture of teamwork, energy, and shared success.

Commercial and Forecasting Excellence:

• Take full accountability for the sales forecast and performance across your account portfolio, working closely with peers to ensure accuracy, ambition, and delivery.

• Represent FFG externally with professionalism and impact, ensuring our brands remain front of mind with key stakeholders.

Business Growth and Innovation:

• Act as a catalyst for business growth, driving ideation, innovation, and customer-focused solutions.

• Leverage insights and collaboration to identify new opportunities within Finland and across international teams.

• Commercial Acumen: A results-oriented mindset with strong negotiation, analytical, and planning skills. Proven ability to manage P&L, forecast accurately, and translate commercial strategies into measurable results.

• Quality-Oriented and Insightful: A deep understanding of the Finnish retail landscape and customer expectations. Brings a data-driven, insight-led approach to building business cases and delivering exceptional customer service.

• Innovative, Adaptable, and Dynamic: Thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment. Creative and energetic, with a flair for finding new solutions and inspiring those around you to think differently and act decisively.

• Language Skills: Fluency in Finnish and English.
