Your Role in Our Story:
The Senior Key Account Manager will be responsible for identifying, structuring, and closing high-value deals that align with ACT Group’s strategic objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of the sustainability landscape, a strong network of industry contacts, and a proven track record of successful deal origination in GoO’s, biomethane or both. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with key stakeholders.
In essence, your role involves:
• Identify and originate new business opportunities that align with ACT Group’s strategic goals and market focus
• Building strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders at client organizations, including C-Suite executives, sustainability leaders, and procurement teams
• Understand clients’ needs and develop tailored solutions that meet their objectives while aligning with ACT Group’s capabilities
• Presenting our portfolio of sustainability services, including carbon credit trading, SAAS solutions for measuring environmental footprints, and trade settlement platforms, effectively articulating value propositions and differentiators
• Collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams, including R&D, marketing, and customer success, to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and exceptional client experiences
• Contribute to the development of long-term business strategies and goals.
Your Expertise:
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Environmental Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus
• Proven track record of success in B2B sales, with at least 7-10 years of experience in key account management or enterprise sales: deal origination, business development, or a related field, preferably within the sustainability sector
• Strong network of industry contacts and a deep understanding of the sustainability sector landscape
• Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and develop innovative solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct
