Role: Senior Java Software engineer (with French)

Mission:

Thales Services Numériques works on outsourcing operations for more than sixty customers. We support our customer’s system with the MRO activity, Our activity is based on the MRO, development of the IT to support applications, transformation of existing applications to the Cloud, Secure hybrid outsourcing or on premise infrastructure, and apply security audits on platforms and remediation’s plan.

Required competencies:

• Set up the code base and structure projects by establishing best development practices
• Take responsibility for critical and complex technical design, estimations, and development tasks
• Provide technical support to other developers on the team and conduct code reviews
• Ensure the continuous integration pipeline is functioning properly for the Java stack
• Contribute to technical knowledge sharing and present key technical topics to internal teams
• Document processes and development activities
• Participate in pre-sales activities related to your area of technical expertise

Requested  experience:

• You have a degree in Computer Science and bring experience in the following areas:
• Strong proficiency in Java and/or C++ development
• Comfortable with both front-end and back-end development
• Experience in developing critical or complex systems
• Familiarity with algorithm development
• Interest or experience in DevOps (CI/CD, containerization, configuration management)
• Designing and developing SOAP and REST APIs
• Working with version control and issue tracking tools (e.g., Git, JIRA)
• Writing unit tests using Junit
• Leadership, team spirit, autonomy, and a proactive mindset
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical project stakeholders
• You are committed to delivering high-quality technical solutions and passionate about contributing to innovative projects in the aerospace sector
• English fluent
• French required minimum B1
