Responsibilities:
• Design, develop and maintain Java-based applications in high-performance computing (HPC) environments
• Support and enhance risk and scenario calculation systems
• Implement solutions with a strong focus on performance and concurrency
• Perform development, testing and deployment activities following agile methodologies
• Collaborate closely with infrastructure teams and other application development teams

Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of strong Java development experience, with focus on performance and concurrency
• Experience working in Linux environments and with scripting languages (Python, ksh, Bash)
• Experience with at least one cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of distributed computing / grid software (e.g., Symphony, Datasynapse)
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Podman)
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred:
• Experience with Git version control
• Familiarity with Gradle build tools
• Experience with risk management systems
• Knowledge of equity derivatives or other financial instruments
• Bachelor’s Degree
