We are looking for a Senior IT System Engineer who will focus on the management of our internal IT infrastructure, endpoint reliability, cloud-based systems like Google Workspace, and scalable processes.

This role supports hybrid work with at least 2 days working onsite, from our HQ office in Vienna.

Job Description

You'll connect with the role if you enjoy...

• Overseeing the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of user endpoint devices, including laptops, desktops, and mobile devices

• Developing and maintaining IT policies, procedures, and best practices, including those related to system maintenance, service provisioning, and disaster recovery

• Implementing, maintaining and documenting an information security, product security and IT risk management program (according to ISO 27001, ISO 22301, NIS2, SOX, etc.) together with the CISO

• Managing and further enhancing ecosio’s Google Workspace environment, ensuring it is securely configured and integrated with other tools and services

• Working closely with the internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration between local-IT infrastructure and cloud environments, optimizing performance and ensuring security

• Optimizing on-boarding and off-boarding processes to ensure scalability of ecosio’s fast changing IT infrastructure

Qualifications

To connect with ecosio it is important to have…

• Ability to prioritise efficiently and drive results independently

• Technical background, software engineer or similar

• Fluency in English required; proficiency in German is an advantage

• Excellent project management and organizational skills

• Know-how of governance, risk and compliance programs and how to implement them

• Experience with driving certifications and regulatory requirements such as ISO 27001

• Knowledge of information security and data privacy concepts, threats and technologies including industry standards and various best practices

• Experience with cloud-based IT company environments, preferably Google Workspace and/or Azure

• Experience in setting up procurement structures and managing SaaS infrastructure

• Strong hands-on technical experience of IT infrastructure, process implementation or security systems from previous roles

According to IT Collective Bargaining Agreement, the minimum gross annual salary for this position is EUR 53.802. Of course, we are happy to offer higher compensation based on qualifications and experience!
