We are looking for a Web Server Administrator Specialist.
Generic Responsibilities
1) operational maintenance and administration of platforms used by the organization (e.g.: Exchange/Outlook, Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint 2013, SharePoint 2016, SharePoint online, RightFax, PowerApps, amongst others), in order to help on the troubleshooting of any related incidents and apply all security patches on the infrastructure as well as supports the development teams.
2) the organizations' environments' architecture, servers and applications, through the implementation of monitoring tools (e.g.: Zabbix, NewTest and among others) to guarantee that they are up-to-date and follow the governance rules for their features.
3) together with Architects and Infrastructure Team to perform technical designs for new infrastructure or technical products, contributes to the realization of POC and prototypes as well as cooperates with any infrastructure related topics.
4) solutions to improve system performance and incident management (such as users’ issues, Level 1 and 2 incidents, and when applicable, Level 3 incidents), in order to solve reported incidents or escalate L3 incidents to vendors (e.g.: Microsoft, Trend Micro, among others).
5) ontributes and participates in migration projects as well as in studies/projects related with the technical architecture and qualification of IT platforms.
6) operational reporting based on PowerBI to guarantee the accurate documentation of the platforms maintenance, upgrade, incidents and tracking of any necessary changes.
7) infrastructure performance and identifies opportunities for optimization, guarantee its operational efficiency.
8) up-to-date with the Industry and best practice trends, using insights to implement new processes and initiatives in the organization.
9) orks closely with at least one of the following tools: Kakfa, IBM MQ, Zabbix, Elastic Search, Rabbit MQ, JBOSS, WildFly, Rubrik and/or IBM Spectrum.
Specific Responsibilities
1) for the capacity planning actions and plans regarding the organization's infrastructure.
• Background in Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar
• Experience and interest for the administration activity;
• Knowledge of Microsoft technologies and applications;
• Knowledge of PowerShell or other scripting languages;
• Knowledge in at least one of the following: Kakfa, IBM MQ, Zabbix, Elastic Search, Rabbit MQ, JBOSS, WildFly, Rubrik and/or IBM Spectrum;
• Knowledge of networking concepts (firewall, load balancers).
