Vision33 is growing — locally, nationally, and globally — and we are seeking a seasoned Senior Security Analyst to join our Corporate IT Security Team to lead our security operations, compliance initiatives, and security awareness programs. This role is a blend of high-level technical execution and strategic oversight. You will be accountable for our detection and response capabilities, ensuring our corporate and hosted customer cloud environments—specifically on AWS and Microsoft 365/Azure—are resilient against modern threats. 

The ideal candidate is a "player-coach" who can dive deep into an XDR platform to hunt for threats while simultaneously navigating complex compliance frameworks and mentoring junior staff. 

The Role 
 

In this pivotal Security Operations role, your day-to-day activities might include: 

Security Threat Hunting & Triage: investigating alerts within our XDR (Extended Detection and Response) platform, correlating data across endpoints, networks, and cloud identities. 

Cloud Security Governance: monitoring and maintaining the security posture of thousands of endpoints across our AWS and Microsoft 365 cloud environments. 

Security Awareness & Culture: participating in security awareness campaigns, webinars and working with staff directly regarding security policy compliance. 

Vulnerability Management: managing the full lifecycle of vulnerability scanning. You will identify new threats, help prioritize patching efforts based on actual risk to the business and coordinate with corporate and customer cloud operations teams for remediation, 

Incident Response Leadership: leading the containment, eradication, and recovery phases of security incidents. You will develop and refine "playbooks" to automate responses to common threats like business email compromise (BEC) or ransomware. 

Compliance & Audit Management: perform regular internal audits to ensure compliance with our documented Information Security Management System (ISMS) policies. You will help evolve our security controls, utilizing your proven experience working within industry frameworks such as NIST and CIS. 

What We’re Looking For
:

Experience
 

7+ years of experience in a Security Operations (SecOps) role, primarily in a cloud or hybrid cloud managed services environment 

Expert-level proficiency in at least one major XDR platform (e.g., Microsoft Defender XDR, CrowdStrike Falcon) 

Advanced-level knowledge of cloud security within AWS and/or Microsoft Azure 

Extensive hands-on experience securing AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC); additional experience working in a DevSecOps context considered a definite asset 

Managing security controls within a standard controls framework (e.g., SOC2, ISO 27001) 

Cloud security certification (CCSP, CISSP, AWS/Microsoft Security, etc) preferred 

Skills & Attributes
 

Passionate about all things cloud security 

You can translate security threats in business terms, devising pragmatic solutions to mitigate security risks, for Vision33 and for our customers 

Ability to work independently while collaborating with remote teams and building strong relationships across the business 

Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to balance multiple tasks/projects and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
