Senior IT Project Manager (Infrastructure)

Position:

This role supports the planning, coordination, and installation of technology infrastructure for the build/renovation of a new London office tower. Focus areas include the installation of voice and data hardware and all associated cabling.

The candidate will lead the delivery of the project – not just report on it.

Responsibilities: :
• Manage the full lifecycle of infrastructure projects
• Oversee hardware procurement and logistics
• Coordinate internal technical teams and external contractors
• Plan and lead the deployment of new core network infrastructure
• Develop, track, and update project schedules
• Gather technical requirements and collaborate with engineering and operations
• Create and manage Technology Change Management tickets
• Identify and manage issue logs
• Provide weekly status reports to internal and external stakeholders
• Schedule UAT testers and BAU approvals
• Coordinate installation of voice and data equipment and cabling
• Manage network integrations, infrastructure builds, and data center activities
• Support data center builds, consolidations, migrations, and decommissions

Requirements: :
• 10+ years of technology project management experience
• Work Friday evenings and Saturdays during the installation phase
• Strong network hardware knowledge (Cisco, Arista)
• Branch office builds, renovations, relocations
• Experience with WAN/LAN environments
• Knowledge of cabling, corporate services, and cable management
• Experience with ServiceNow, MS Project, Excel, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Visio
• Confident, articulate self-starter
• Strong team player with high commitment and enthusiasm
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong time-management and prioritization abilities
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven leadership during periods of change
• Capable of owning project execution end-to-end
