Job Title: IT Network Administrator (Senior)
Contract: 1 Year, with a potential renewal
Location: Ergo Office, 1sT Floor Block T, D03 R6C6, CO DUBLIN
Working Model: Onsite Client Office/Ergo Office.
Role Type: Individual Contributor
Responsibilities
• Configure, provide 2nd and 3rd line support and deploy enterprise-level routing & switching solutions.
• Collaborate with network and cross-functional teams to align IT initiatives with strategic business
objectives while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and industry best practices.
• Implement and optimize network security policies, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, NAC, Application
Control and Web Filtering.
• Manage multi-vendor environments, including Cisco (IOS, IOSXE), Juniper (JunOS), Fortinet (FortiOS)
and others.
• Ensure alignment with high availability and disaster recovery strategies.
• Leverage network management and monitoring tools to ensure network efficiency and to avert and
identify potential shortfalls.
• Effectively document and communicate network configuration changes.
• Create Method of Procedure documents and present to CAB for implementation as required.
Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of experience working in complex enterprise-level networks
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering,
or similar discipline).
• Troubleshoot complex LAN/WAN/WLAN issues and provide root cause analysis.
• Expert knowledge with data communications and routing protocols (TLS/SSL, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF,
802.1X).
• Experience working in Data Centres and knowledge of Data Centre network design.
• Experience in monitoring and analysing network performance using network monitoring tools such as
SolarWinds.
• Ability to resolve complex and technically challenging network and network security related
problems.
• Ability to maintain detailed and accurate network documentation, including diagrams, and
configurations.
• Work with 3rd party vendors for hardware/software support.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Cisco CCNP and/or Juniper JNCIP or equivalent
